The current dataset covers the years 1917 to 2024 for boys’ names and 1913 to 2024 for girls’ names.

In this article, we will look at the most popular names in recent years and then explore which names are also familiar choices among Iranian families.

How Common Are Specifically Iranian Names?

Now, if we take this analysis one step further and look only at names that are particularly common among Iranian boys, we get a different picture.

In the data reviewed, we tracked the following 12 Iranian names from 2015 to 2024:

Which Iranian Boy Name Appears Most Often?
