About Me

I am Ali Zatalyan, a vocalist, musician, songwriter, composer, and music educator, specializing in voice training, solfège, singing, electric and acoustic guitar instruction, practical music theory, and composition. In our classes, we strive to explore and learn the foundations of voice and music together through an engaging and fundamental approach. We focus on discovering how to identify and develop your artistic talents and personal sense of aesthetics, while building motivation and discipline through consistent practice. Step by step, we work toward developing the knowledge, experience, skills, and techniques needed in singing, performing, composing, and the artistic path you wish to pursue, ensuring healthy and effective progress. Together, we continuously develop musical listening and performance skills. Based on each student’s experience, age, goals, and preferred style, we use the most up-to-date and practical teaching methods to create personalized exercises and learning plans tailored to your needs. Together, we will help your inner voice and artistry flourish.

Teaching Method

Teaching is tailored based on the student’s age, experience, style, and goals, and follows a structured, goal-oriented practice plan. Voice training, solfège, and singing are taught based on fundamental principles and modern methodologies (Bel Canto, SLS, CVT, MVT, IVT), alongside guitar, piano, or music applications. We also cover practical music theory and the fundamentals of composition. Electric and acoustic guitar instruction (pick and fingerstyle) is taught using modern methods and digital tools, combined with cover songs from various artists and genres, helping students develop advanced techniques and build their own unique artistic identity.

Experience

• Master’s degree in Polymer Engineering • 15 years of private teaching experience • 7 years of experience in online music instruction • 8 years of teaching electric and acoustic guitar, vocal training, and singing at Barbad and Pehlavani-Nejad music institutes • 2 years of experience teaching performance, singing, music theory, and composition at Arad and Se-La-Chang music institutes • Performed rock concerts in English and Persian as a vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, composer, and arranger with bands such as Cactus, Hirak, and others • Over a decade of studio recording experience, release of multiple tracks, composition for theater and film (Nachari), and collaboration with experienced musicians and performers • Organized and led concerts and performed alongside my talented, dedicated, and outstanding students
