About Me
I am Atiyeh Goudarzi, a Persian language and preschool skills educator. For the past 10 years, I have been connecting with 6- and 7-year-old children. Why do I say "connecting"? Because I firmly believe that establishing a friendly, deep, and equal connection with children always comes before mere instruction. Within this meaningful relationship, children achieve growth that goes far beyond traditional schooling, while naturally learning Persian and essential preschool skills. One key point I must emphasize is my deep understanding of how to motivate children living abroad to learn Persian. I am also highly experienced in navigating the complexities of teaching long vowel sounds to bilingual children. This expertise does not come solely from textbooks or academic studies; it is the direct result of hands-on experience and overcoming teaching challenges with nearly 100 bilingual students.
Teaching Method
My approach to teaching Persian is centered around the four core language skills. For students looking to improve their listening and speaking, local stories and open discussions on science topics provide an excellent platform for conversation, expanding vocabulary, and mastering proper sentence structures. When it comes to reading and writing, I customize my teaching methods based on each student's current familiarity with Persian letters and words.
