About Me

For me, mathematics is not a discipline separate from other sciences, but part of a continuous journey toward understanding the world—a journey that has evolved throughout history through human questions, discoveries, and intuition. The unexpected ideas and connections between different concepts that emerge along this journey are among the reasons mathematics continues to feel so alive and fascinating to me. I enjoy working with students of different abilities and interests, especially when I see a student who initially struggles to connect with a topic gradually find their own way and begin to enjoy problem-solving. I see my role more as a facilitator than simply someone who teaches mathematical concepts and various problem-solving techniques. My goal is to help each student discover their own way of thinking—a way that aligns with their mind and curiosity.

Teaching Method

My classes are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I select educational resources and tools based on each student’s needs, whether the goal is to develop a deeper understanding of school mathematics, strengthen problem-solving and mathematical modeling skills, or prepare for exams such as AP, IB, GCSE/IGCSE, and the SAT. To support this process, I draw on textbooks and educational resources from Pearson, Oxford, and Cambridge; activities and lesson plans from websites such as NCTM and NRICH; and interactive tools such as GeoGebra and Desmos. I use these resources to make learning more than just a text-based experience, giving students more opportunities to explore, experiment with, and apply mathematical ideas.
