About Me
My love for music began at the age of four when I first sat down at a piano. What started as a childhood interest quickly grew into a lifelong passion that continues to inspire me every day. Through years of dedicated study and practice, I have completed Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Practical Examinations for Levels 1, 3, and 7, as well as Theory Examinations for Levels 7 and 8. I am currently working toward my Level 8 Practical Examination. Music has taught me far more than notes and rhythms, it has helped me develop discipline, creativity, perseverance, and confidence. I believe that learning music should be both rewarding and enjoyable, and I am passionate about sharing that experience with my students. My goal is to help each student discover their unique musical voice while building strong skills and confidence that extend beyond the piano.
Teaching Method
I tailor every lesson to each student's age, learning style, goals, and musical interests. I primarily teach using the Alfred Basic Piano Library while incorporating music theory, ear training, sight-reading, technique, and performance skills into every lesson. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and enjoying the learning process. Whether a student is playing their very first notes or preparing for an RCM examination, I strive to make every lesson both challenging and rewarding.
