About Me

My name is Nazanin Rahimi, and I hold a PhD in French Language Education (FLE). For many years, French has been an important part of my life. To me, learning a language is not simply about mastering a few rules or memorizing vocabulary; every language opens the door to a new world, filled with different cultures, people, and experiences. What I enjoy most about teaching is witnessing my students’ growth—from the first sentences they say in French with a little hesitation to the day they speak with confidence and realize that they can truly think and communicate in another language. In my classes, I strive to create a warm, relaxed, and energetic environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and celebrating even your small achievements. I believe every learner has their own story and learning journey, and it is these individual differences that make teaching so rewarding for me. I would be delighted to accompany you on your French-learning journey and help you move forward, step by step.

Teaching Method

My teaching approach is interactive, communicative, and learner-centered. I select and personalize teaching methods and materials based on each learner’s age, level, needs, and goals. Alongside core textbooks such as Édito, Alter Ego, and Décibel, I also use supplementary resources for grammar, vocabulary, reading, and listening comprehension. In online classes, I use videos, audio recordings, images, and interactive activities to encourage learners to take an active role and apply what they learn in real-life situations. For children and teenagers, I also incorporate a variety of engaging activities tailored to their interests.

• PhD in French Language Education (FLE) • Over 9 years of experience teaching French online to children, teenagers, and adults at various levels • 3 years of experience teaching French at MIS International Schools in Mashhad • 3 years of experience as a French language instructor at Islamic Azad University in Mashhad and Isfahan • 3 years of experience teaching French at the Language Center of Iran University of Science and Technology in Tehran • French Language Teachers’ Scholarship recipient in 2024; earned a certificate from the University of Franche-Comté, France • 2 years of experience teaching French online to children and teenagers at Yarar Language Academy
