About Me

Hello, I'm Negar, a university student who has been living and studying in Japan for nearly four years. My passion for Japanese anime and video games inspired me to start learning Japanese alongside the other languages I had already studied. That passion eventually led me to move to Japan to pursue my education. I am currently a third-year university student majoring in Game Character Design. I learned Japanese not only through textbooks but also by living in a completely Japanese-speaking environment. I use Japanese every day as part of my daily life—from shopping and handling everyday tasks to attending classes and communicating with people. While living in Japan, I have successfully completed several Japanese language proficiency exams, so I understand exactly where learners tend to struggle and which parts are genuinely challenging, because I have gone through the same journey myself and continue to learn every day. This allows me to support my students from a practical and relatable perspective, not just through textbook knowledge. In my lessons, I prefer to focus on hands-on practice and real-life examples from everyday life in Japan rather than simply memorizing grammar rules. I guide students from the very beginning of their learning journey all the way to achieving their goals.

Teaching Method

For teaching Japanese, I use an interactive and collaborative approach that encourages active participation throughout each lesson. During the alphabet stage, every class introduces new characters, which are then practiced through words and sentences to help students fully understand and retain them. Once the alphabet has been mastered, we continue the learning journey using the "Minna no Nihongo" and "TRY!" textbooks. In every lesson, all four core language skills—reading, writing, speaking, and listening—are practiced in a balanced and integrated way to help students build practical communication skills and gain confidence in using Japanese.
