About Me

Hello! My name is Parmida. I started playing the piano at the age of eight. At the age of twenty, I moved to London to pursue music professionally and academically, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music from Royal Holloway, University of London. The piano is my primary instrument, but I also play percussion in ensembles and compose both modern and classical music. I would love to share my passion and love for music with you to the best of my ability!

Teaching Method

Classes are held weekly, with the content tailored to each student’s preferences, goals, and skill level. In addition to piano playing and performing pieces, we also work on music theory and ear training to strengthen the student’s musical understanding and musicality. The books and teaching methods are selected and adapted based on your age, interests, and goals. For example, I use books such as "Piano Adventures" and "James Bastien". We also choose pieces that the student enjoys, taking their playing level into consideration. If you are interested, I can also help you prepare for international music examinations such as ABRSM, RCM, and Trinity.
