About Me

Hello! My name is Setayesh. I started playing the piano at the age of 6, and since then, music has been an important part of my life. Music has always been one of my greatest passions, and I continue to play the piano regularly. I have 6 years of experience teaching piano both online and in person, working with students of different ages and skill levels. I have also performed in several concerts and achieved a provincial ranking in piano competitions. I would be happy to accompany you on your musical learning journey and help you develop strong skills and greater confidence while enjoying the process of learning piano. I look forward to learning and growing together on this path.

Teaching Method

I like to balance learning songs with building a strong foundation. In my lessons, we work on playing pieces, finger exercises, note reading, rhythm, and basic music theory, so students can develop both their technique and musical understanding. The books I use depend on each student’s level, but I usually recommend starting with Michael Aaron or John Thompson. For finger technique, I often use Beyer, Czerny, or Hanon. If you already have a book you like or want to continue with, I’m happy to use that and adjust the lessons based on your goals and progress.
