About Me

Greetings, dear students. I hope you are well. My name is Somayeh Kabiri, and I've been dedicated to teaching French for over a decade. I consider myself a specialist in this field, having completed the comprehensive French Embassy-sponsored courses and twice receiving their prestigious scholarship, most recently in 2019. I possess extensive knowledge of various teaching methods for children, teenagers, and adults, and all my instructional approaches and activities are aligned with the French Embassy's educational and cultural guidelines. Currently, I hold the position of Supervisor at the Talk Novin Children's House Feel free to consult with me for guidance on any aspect of French language learning. I'm confident in providing you with the most effective strategies to achieve your language goals. I look forward to see you soon in my classes.

Teaching Method

As a teacher, I use various methods for teaching, but initially, in the introductory session by determining the level and talking to the language learner to get to know them better and identify their individual needs and characteristics, I try to use different methods in teaching, such as storybooks, various films and cartoons, and attractive music for learning, and I also use various technological tools for the applicability of the online class. In children's and teenagers' classes, I try to understand the children's interests and build the work plan for each session around them so that the children can enjoy learning as well. In adult classes, repetition and practice in the classroom and the use of educational websites and exercises after class for the learner to learn better, are necessary in my opinion. The books I use in teaching include: les loustics, les petits loustics, Alex et Zoé, Adosphère, Décibel... and according to the school curriculum, we do exercises and activities related to the schools together in the class. Books for teaching adults include Edito A1/A2/B1/B2, Expression orale, Expression écrite, Vite et bien, Grammaire progressive, Vocabulaire progressif ... and any other book that is needed.
