About Me
My name is Mehraveh, and I was born in 1994. I started playing music when I was six years old. The first time I placed my little fingers on the piano keys, I thought to myself that I could tell a thousand different stories with these sounds. A thousand stories that emerge from within oneself, like the buds of a tree. Over the years, I explored every corner of music – instruments and vocals, classical to rock. My younger years were filled with piano and violin lessons, the becoming my main squeeze for a while. But singing always held a special place in my heart. From belting out pop tunes as a teen to discovering a love for classical singing later on, I'm now using everything I've learned to create my own music. Singing lessons, alongside singing and writing, was my dream job. The years I have been able to work with different beautiful voices have given me so much valuable experience that cannot be compared to anything in the world, and I am grateful for that.
Teaching Method
The teaching approach in this class depends on the student's level, goals, and even personality. Singing lessons can be completely different for each person, but in the end, our goal is for everyone to get to know their own voice and improve it. In general, classes usually begin with topics related to vocal anatomy and singing hygiene, of course, in a language appropriate for the student's age and level. Most of the class time is spent working on technique and applying it to pieces. Depending on the content of the sessions, we may also delve into music theory, poetry understanding, composition, and contemporary music history. There is no need to purchase a textbook, as most of the exercises or any other content will be prepared by me and provided to you.
