About Me
I’m someone who becomes curious rather than intimidated when faced with a complex system. I want to understand what happens behind the scenes—how a message is generated, moves between services, transforms along the way, and ultimately becomes useful information. This curiosity led me to programming and data engineering, and eventually to designing dashboards and working with Power BI, where scattered data can be transformed into clear, actionable insights for decision-making. Along the way, I’ve encountered plenty of strange errors, incomplete messages, failed services, and bugs that kept me thinking for hours. These experiences taught me that making mistakes is a natural part of learning, and that some of the most valuable lessons come from the moments when things don’t go as expected. What motivates me most is seeing the moment when a difficult concept suddenly clicks for someone—when they finally understand and think, “Oh, so that’s how it works!” I’d love to share that same curiosity and joy of discovery with my students.
Teaching Method
My teaching approach is project-based and centered around real-world problems. I explain concepts in a simple and practical way, then reinforce them through coding and hands-on exercises. Throughout the course, we explore the differences and practical applications of various databases, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, and Redis, helping students understand how to choose the right database based on the needs of a project. I also teach dashboard design and data visualization with Power BI through practical, real-world exercises. Course materials include official documentation as well as real-world examples. In online classes, I make extensive use of screen sharing, live query execution, and real-time error analysis to create an interactive and hands-on learning experience.
Experience
• Software Developer and Database Administrator with experience in SQL tuning, query optimization, index design and optimization, execution plan analysis, performance bottleneck resolution, and database management for social media and data analytics platforms. Experienced with SQL Server, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, Neo4j, and Redis, as well as High Availability, Replication, and Sharding architectures. • Designed and developed Instagram crawlers for data collection and user behavior analysis, with a focus on reducing crawler blocking and improving reliability. • Senior Software Developer and contributor to the development of the Fasket Smart Shopping Cart. • Developed software solutions based on Raspberry Pi and state machines, including data processing from weight sensors, cameras, NFC, RS232, and RS485 devices. • Developed a mask detection and people-counting system for the German company Ampada using C++, YOLO and Mobile SSD algorithms, and the Jetson Nano platform. • Experienced in teaching students internationally. • Designed analytical dashboards using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators, identify trends, and transform database data into clear, actionable reports.
