About Me

Hello, my name is Arghavan Armioun. My fascination with the English language began at the tender age of nine, leading me to pursue a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. Despite excelling in my studies and being eligible for direct admission to a Master's program in the same field, I decided to follow my passion for teaching English. I took the entrance exam and earned my Master's degree in English Language Teaching from Allameh Tabataba'i University. My thesis focused on the impact of culture on language acquisition for immigrants in Canada. Following my graduate studies, I concentrated on the IELTS exam and completed a training course to become a certified IELTS instructor. One of the most captivating aspects of teaching English for me is the opportunity to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds and engage in continuous learning. This drive to learn and grow motivates me to constantly refine my teaching methods. My primary goal is to ensure that all students, even those who are initially reluctant to learn English and attend classes out of necessity, find joy and enthusiasm in the learning process. I believe in tailoring course materials to each student's individual needs and interests, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. My passion for languages extends beyond English, as I am also fluent in French and constantly seek opportunities to expand my linguistic repertoire.

Teaching Method

I recognize that each learner has unique needs and learning styles, so I create personalized lesson plans that enable each student to reach their full potential. Drawing upon a diverse range of teaching methodologies, I combine them strategically to align with individual learning preferences and personality traits. Additionally, I leverage students' prior language learning experiences to identify their strengths, areas for improvement and specific interests, ensuring that the curriculum is tailored accordingly.
