About Me

Hello everyone, I'm Behnaz Haghighi, a Master in Persian Language and Literature. I love children and Shahnameh. One of the beauties of the world and the greatest hope of life is the existence of children, and it is up to us to teach love and respect to children through our behavior. To create a safe environment for their pure thoughts and for their imagination to fly. I think the stories of Shahnameh can be a safe place. In this class, children will be introduced to the stories of Shahnameh. We imagine in the form of play. Sometimes we sing songs and have a lot of fun. For interested children, I also teach how to read Hafez correctly. Without the meaning of the verses and by paying attention to the synonymous and antonymous words, etc. In the adult class, the correct reading of Shahnameh, the meanings of words and phrases, ancient rituals, and the foundations of mythology are examined according to the story. Also, I am with you on the beautiful path of self-discovery, flourishing, and achieving peace with reading Masnavi and Hafez. Correct reading of Masnavi with the explanation of verses (Karim Zamani) and Hafez with the explanation (Saeid Hamidian).

Teaching Method

The main principle in my class is happiness and joy. No books or handouts are needed. The class method is interactive and proceeds through dialogue. For teenagers and adults, if desired, I will send a pdf of selected verses.
