About Me

Hello everyone. Welcome to my page. I am Elnaz Askarian. I think being a teacher has always been a part of me and always will be. I have always had a great passion for teaching others what I know. And so when I entered the field of English translation, this passion and talent led me to the path I am on now. As a result, I took teaching courses and after about three months of classes and many exams, I was able to become a formal teacher. In the rest of this text, you will get to know more about my work.

Teaching Method

In my classes, I usually use teaching methods such as CLT, TBLT and Gamification. These methods focus on continuous conversation and verbal communication, teaching and learning through assignments and projects, and games and learning. The books I often choose for teaching are American English File, Oxford words skill, Family and Friends, English Time. For students who choose conversational terms, books such as Person to Person are also used. For grammar-oriented terms, we usually use the book Grammar in Use. These books are all selected depending on the level and goal of the student, and with a combination of them, the student's ability in various skills increases. YouTube resources are also very important in learning, which are definitely used. For children, teaching should be a little more interesting and creative. As a result, with the tools I have on platforms such as Canva, I can create attractive booklets with the help of images, stickers and different colors. Also, for questions and courses, I usually create games for children with the help of a series of websites so that the question and answer process is not boring. Finally, I must say that in my classes, the learning process should not be boring and slow. As a result, with the help of my methods and of course your perseverance, we create a dynamic and attractive class.
