About Me
I’m Farzaneh Javadi, 33 years old, currently living in Milan. When I moved to Italy in 2021, I had a strong passion for studying in English. I had learned English as an integral part of my childhood and teenage years through structured language courses, and I truly enjoyed using it in an academic environment. However, in order to integrate into society, I needed to step back into the language-learning journey this time with Italian. Learning a language as an adult was very different from my previous experience. As an adult, I felt more like a child who resists traditional methods of learning and prefers to acquire language in a natural, intuitive way. Fortunately, over the past four years, I’ve consistently worked with children, and I’ve been able to explore my curiosity about learning and teaching through hands-on experience and experimentation. At this stage, my main focus is to apply and improve the skills and experiences I’ve gained in teaching English. To keep it short people know me for my sense of humor, attention to detail, and a kind of childlike simplicity. As for myself, I see myself as a serious, organized, and highly responsible person, and my strength lies in finding a way into my students’ hearts and minds.
Teaching Method
In terms of my teaching approach, I believe that communication is more important than perfection. My goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable and start speaking from day one. As a teacher, it’s my responsibility to understand my students’ interests and guide their learning process through those interests and real-life situations. Depending on each student’s learning style, we can use a variety of resources. At the same time, I try to loosely follow the structure of a textbook to ensure all four language skills are developed in a balanced and systematic way.
