About Me

I am the kind of teacher who believes learning should be more than just “studying” for children, it should become a joyful and meaningful experience. In teaching Persian, especially to Iranian children living abroad, I believe that if classes are not engaging and interactive, children can quickly lose interest. To me, a great class is one that is focused and concise, yet full of energy and excitement. I also strongly believe that teaching should be flexible, meaning each learner’s path should be shaped around their individual needs, personality, and pace of learning, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. In my classes, I work to create a warm and safe environment where children feel comfortable speaking Persian without fear of making mistakes, gradually building both interest in the language and confidence in themselves. My goal is for every child not only to learn, but also to feel more capable, confident, and motivated.

Teaching Method

My teaching approach combines purposeful interaction with structured learning. This means that while children actively speak Persian and build confidence, they also develop strong reading and writing foundations in a systematic way. In my classes, I use tools such as: Professional gamification techniques to reinforce learning Stories and storytelling to build understanding and interest Drawing and creative activities Age-appropriate online and offline educational games Personalized exercises designed for each student For children living abroad, I specifically tailor the learning plan based on: • The child’s previous familiarity with Persian • Their current level and the family’s goals • The child’s interests and learning style My ultimate goal is for students to move forward in learning Persian with enthusiasm through dynamic, interactive, and play-based classes.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Shahid Beheshti University • Master’s student in Clinical Psychology • Preschool teacher and elementary school teacher for Grades 1, 2, and 4 • 5 years of experience teaching at the elementary level, both in person and online • 3 years of specialized experience teaching Persian to elementary students • Facilitator of Philosophy for Children (P4C) classes for Grades 1, 2, and 4 • Designer and organizer of educational and skill-building workshops for children
