About Me

I am Kimia Shahnavaz, a Spanish language teacher and a passionate lover of the world of languages. For me, learning a language is not just a skill; it’s a way of life. Languages keep my mind vibrant, help me see the world from different perspectives, and every time I learn a new language, I feel like I’m adding a new dimension to myself. My journey with Spanish began through an intensive academic program in the city of Barcelona—a course that not only gave me a solid academic foundation but also, by immersing me in the heart of the culture and language, made the learning experience much deeper and more real. Since I started teaching, I’ve realized that teaching itself is a learning journey: figuring out how to convey concepts, how to connect with students, and how to help them progress has been a joyful challenge for me. I’m here to accompany you on this path—to move forward together, to practice, to make mistakes, and to learn. Teaching Method

The teaching approach in the classes will be conversation-based. The course material is a carefully curated summary from a variety of Spanish language books, with selected sections from each book included as appropriate. For children's classes, the overall method is centered around games and cartoons, making the learning experience exciting and engaging for the kids.
