About Me
I've been interested in music since I was a child, but my serious start was at the age of 9, when I played the guitar for the first time. That strange feeling I got from touching my first chord made me realize this was more than just a hobby. After that, I moved on to the violin—first traditional, then classical. Each had its own unique world and helped me get more familiar with music. Gradually, I started singing and playing the piano. Singing helped me express my emotions more easily, and the piano was like a sweet challenge that engaged my mind. Throughout all these paths, what always fascinated me was the effect of music on the brain and intelligence. I truly feel that music has helped improve my focus and understanding. Many times when I'm tired or not in the mood, practicing or just listening to a piece of music gives me energy again. For me, music isn't just an art—it's a way to grow, to think, and even to live.
Teaching Method
In my teaching approach, understanding the individual needs and characteristics of each student is highly important. At the beginning of the journey, I use Michael Aaron and John Thompson’s books to teach music reading. For technical development, I incorporate exercises from Schmitt, Czerny, and Lebert & Stark (Loeschhorn). To enhance artistic expression and familiarize students with a variety of pieces, I include collections such as Forty Pieces, Yazdan Yekrangkian’s Piano Pieces, and Classics by Fauré in the curriculum. My goal is for the student to not only learn properly but also gain a deep understanding of music and play with artistic expression. I also teach using the international RSL method, which helps harmonize the student’s musical knowledge and enables them to progress through global grading levels.
