About Me

Hello, my name is Maedeh. The rhythm flows through me. I started learning music at the age of 9 with the Tonbak drum, and after a while, I learned other instruments including the piano, Handpan, Daf, Darbuka, Tumba, Dammam, Djembe, Cajón, and Oud. I loved music so much that my family would give me a new instrument as a birthday present every year! I started my professional career at the age of 15 and have been working in this field ever since. I am here to show you the path that I took and that has filled my life with passion, love, and excitement. My goal is to share this good feeling with everyone who thinks they are interested in rhythm and music. Learning music has no age limit, and anyone of any age can join me on this journey.

Teaching Method

• 15 years of experience in various music bands • Member of the Hayahou band, led by Mohammad Reaza Salimian • Member of the Ghessegouha band and performed live with the band for 30 nights on the Shab-neshini program of Jam-e Jam 1 TV network • Performed concerts at Azadi Tower, Eyvan-e Shams, University of Art, Arasbaran Cultural Center, Golestan Cultural Center, Eshraq Cultural Center, Mahak Charity, and other venues • Experience in recording albums and singles, and collaborating with composers • Participation in theater music groups and recording music videos • Experience in online and private teaching, and working as a teacher in active music schools • Conducted workshops and classes at schools and kindergartens

Experience

My teaching method revolves around instructing the Persian musical radifs (melodic patterns). I draw upon the radifs of Maestro Davami and Maestro Karimi, as passed down to me by my own teachers. I begin by warming up the student's voice using a piano and musical notes. We then embark on a deeper exploration of the radifs, revisiting key elements in subsequent sessions to solidify understanding.
