About Me

From a young age, I have been interested in studying psychology, literature, and mysticism, and alongside my university major, I pursued these fields as well. My main focus was on mysticism and its integration with psychology, through which I found answers to many of my personal questions. In recent years, in addition to studying Hafez and the Shahnameh, I have turned to the Masnavi and the Divan of Shams, devoting most of my time and energy to researching and examining the works of Rumi. I have studied under distinguished masters in this field and continue to do so. Mysticism—especially invaluable treasures such as the Masnavi and the Divan of Shams—opens a new window toward self-knowledge and understanding the purpose for which we live on this earthly realm.

Teaching Method

My teaching approach is based on the learner’s familiarity with the subject matter. I do not follow a fixed format and instead make decisions according to the learner’s needs and preferences. I try to use both sources in combination. I prefer my learners to have a basic familiarity with the topic and a genuine desire to learn, as this is not a formal academic course and therefore allows for greater flexibility; the quality of the learning process determines how we proceed. I also strive to make the classes participatory and interactive.

Experience

• 12 years of studying the interpretation of the ""Masnavi"" and the ""Divan of Shams"" under the guidance of experienced mentors • 4 years of attending courses in mythology and ""Shahnameh"" studies taught by renowned scholars • 2 years of participating in Hafez studies classes under the supervision of a university literature professor • Completion of the course on ""The Conference of the Birds"" (Mantiq al-Tayr) by Attar in the company of literary scholars • Currently attending a course on ""Boostan"" by Saadi • 2 years of organizing and conducting a complete ""Masnavi"" reading course with a like-minded group • Participation in literary and mystical gatherings • Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Isfahan
