About Me

My interest in mathematics goes back to high school. I often found myself thinking about various mathematical topics such as algebra, calculus, combinatorics, and number theory. This passion led me to pursue mathematics as my field of study and continue along this path all the way through my PhD. Alongside mastering advanced mathematics and its fundamental concepts during my undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies, I also made an effort to learn how to teach mathematics effectively. During my undergraduate years, I began learning how to explain mathematics in simple terms and explore precise and diverse teaching methods. Eventually, teaching and research in mathematics became the main foundation of my life. I have always been deeply concerned with finding the right way to teach mathematics. Over the years, I have studied and applied many different teaching approaches in my classes. In terms of my teaching interests and experience, I can point to training students for mathematical olympiads, preparing courses for mathematics competitions, teaching foundational subjects to students of different age groups, as well as teaching courses such as differential equations, calculus, probability and statistics, and more.

Teaching Method

Based on my own experience and the training I have received, I usually try to follow these principles as my teaching approach. I believe it is very important to understand the student’s or learner’s capacity and style of learning, as well as their relationship with mathematics. Whether they are detail-oriented or big-picture thinkers, more visual or verbal learners, and similar factors help in choosing the most effective teaching methods for them. Creating a proper learning environment and building constructive interaction with the student also plays a key role and depends greatly on the teacher’s ability. For example, providing a space that encourages focus and reflection, sparking interest, and helping the student connect with mathematics on a deeper level. Since teaching mathematics online requires precision, it is essential to dedicate a significant part of the class to instruction aligned with the student’s educational system, and then focus on teaching problem-solving methods and techniques through practicing and working on various exercises. Finally, I ask the student to briefly explain what they have learned in their own words.
