About Me

Music has been my primary focus since a very young age, and I spent a significant portion of my academic years, from high school to graduate school, in this field. However, I started playing the Ney instrument even a few years before high school. Nevertheless, I never wanted to be a one-dimensional person, and I always tried to learn different skills, even those that were not directly related to my field of study. For this reason, from the time I was in high school, I took up playing the Tombak and Piano as seriously as my main instrument and chose composition as my main goal. During my university years, I realized that in addition to specialized music courses, I was also interested in philosophy, history, economics, physics, programming, and many other subjects, and I devoted my free time to learning and studying these fields. I feel that these skills and side studies, not only have not taken me away from my main goal of composition, but on the contrary, have deepened my understanding of my specialty.

Teaching Method

My teaching method in this class is based on the academic system of music, which is reading notes and performing from notes. In this system, after teaching the basics of music theory and note reading, we start the elementary course from a booklet that I have compiled myself. It is worth mentioning that this booklet is designed based on one of the most reputable music teaching methods in the world, the Suzuki method, and its content is harmonized with traditional persian music. After the elementary course, which usually takes less than a year, we start the advanced course from the Iranian music repertoire as narrated by Abdollah Davami, and after analyzing each corner, we ask the student to first memorize it and secondly, based on the framework of that corner, improvise a few phrases. In addition to the repertoire, rhythmic pieces from the works of great composers such as Kasayi, Payvar, Hossein Alizadeh, and ... are included in the advanced course curriculum to strengthen the student's technical skills along with their knowledge of the repertoire.
