About Me
Hello, I’m Mitra. More than anything, French is not just a subject or a collection of rules to me; it is a language I have lived with, learned, taught, and continue to enjoy discovering. What motivates me most as a teacher is seeing the moment when a learner suddenly understands something that seemed difficult just a few minutes earlier and begins to use it with confidence. These moments are especially rewarding for me when working with children. I believe language learning should take place in a safe, dynamic, and enjoyable environment—one where learners are not afraid of making mistakes and can progress with confidence and ease. In my classes, I try to make French part of a real-life experience rather than simply something to be memorized. Alongside teaching, I continue to study and conduct research in the field of French language education. This connection between classroom experience and specialized knowledge helps me continually discover new things to learn, explore, and improve.
Teaching Method
My classes are designed around each learner’s age, level, and goals. When teaching children, I use stories, games, songs, flashcards, visual materials, PowerPoint presentations, and movement-based activities. I also establish a consistent routine to help children feel secure and stay focused. Activities are varied and kept short to maintain children’s engagement and participation. For teenagers and adults, alongside textbooks and other learning resources, I use videos, authentic materials, speaking activities, and targeted exercises. My goal is to help learners not only study French, but also use it confidently in real-life situations.
