About Me
It has always been important to me that my today be different from my tomorrow, and that I continue to move forward in life. In no phase of my academic, family, or professional life, despite my many responsibilities, have I ever stagnated. Learning new things and relearning old ones has always been important to me. After 15 years of working as a civil engineer, to have a greater impact on people rather than working with materials, I pursued studies in education and founded my own educational institute. Even in the field of education, I have always been in pursuit of new learning. Currently, due to my connection with the field of mindfulness, MBCT therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, I am studying and hope to effectively accompany and convey a sense of satisfaction with everything as it is to my audience.
Teaching Method
Our mindfulness course is highly practice-oriented. We delve into theoretical concepts very little. Together, we practice connecting with our breath, reconciling with our bodies, anchoring ourselves in the body, recognizing our sensations, and listening to the voice of our bodies. We observe our thoughts consciously without getting lost in the stories of our thoughts. We recognize our emotions, accept them without denial or self-blame, and ultimately come to mindful observation and being with whatever is, as it is, and then letting go without clinging to our pleasures or displeasures. We come to 'let it be & let it go'. In our ongoing adult or adolescent mindfulness course sessions, through formal and informal mindfulness practices, we explore the following nine concepts: Beginner's Mind, Non-judgmental, Patience, Acceptance, Trust, Letting Go, Non-striving, Compassion, and Gratitude. We hope this will lead to a change in our perspective on life and its challenges. Naturally, it's not possible to convey all these valuable concepts in one session. We need to be together for at least eight consecutive weeks for these concepts to become ingrained in us and for us to be able to use them in life's challenges. Daily practice of half an hour a day is also necessary for this companionship.
