About Me

I have been living and studying in Turkey for about five years. During this time, I have learned Turkish both through academic study and everyday life. As a result, I am not only familiar with the language's grammar but also with common expressions, natural speech patterns, and Turkish culture. I have been teaching Turkish for about three years, and I always strive to create a friendly, relaxed, and stress-free learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking and building their confidence. My lessons focus primarily on grammar and conversation because I believe a language is truly learned when you can use it naturally in real-life situations. My goal goes beyond teaching from textbooks. I want my students to communicate confidently in everyday life, at university, in the workplace, or while traveling in Turkey. Seeing my students make progress and speak Turkish with confidence is the most rewarding and motivating part of teaching for me.

Teaching Method

In my lessons, I primarily use the "Yedi İklim" textbook. However, if I feel that additional resources would help you learn more effectively, I also incorporate supplementary books and learning materials. Depending on your level and goals, we can combine "Yedi İklim" with other carefully selected resources to help you achieve the best possible results. Every lesson includes dedicated time for answering questions and reviewing any topics you find challenging. If you have any questions outside of class, you're always welcome to message me, and I'll be happy to help. To improve your pronunciation and help you become more familiar with natural Turkish, I also recommend Turkish TV series, movies, podcasts, and songs that match your level and learning goals. This not only reinforces grammar but also helps you become familiar with authentic speech, everyday expressions, and accurate pronunciation, making your conversations sound much more natural and fluent.
