About Me

Hello! I’m Parya. I hold a Master’s degree in Language Education and have about 15 years of experience teaching English in group classes and private lessons, both in-person and online. For more than five years now, I’ve also been teaching Persian to children and adults who are eager to learn the language. It makes me truly happy and motivated to see my students learn Persian, speak it, and even read Persian poetry. Overall, I really enjoy teaching and working with children. I always try to be not just a teacher but also a friend to my students, so that our classes are enjoyable and full of positive energy for both sides. Over the years, I’ve learned through experience that this approach makes classes much more effective and rewarding.

Teaching Method

My teaching is mainly based on Persian school textbooks (reading and writing), but I adjust my methods according to each student’s personality and abilities. For example, some students are visual learners and understand better through what they see, so I use short videos, pictures, and drawings with them. Others are auditory learners with stronger listening skills, so I make greater use of poems and music. For younger learners and when teaching the alphabet, I follow a “whole-to-part” approach, which has proven to be very effective. Alongside all this, I also use games and hands-on activities for practice, and to improve fluency I encourage reading and oral presentation of short stories. Overall, I always try to manage class time in a way that ensures we cover and practice all four skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
