About Me
Hello everyone, my name is Sadegh. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in Mechanical Engineering at Aalborg University in Denmark, and I earned my PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland (UQ) in Australia. I have been teaching for more than 10 years alongside my academic and research work, working with students at different levels. My teaching experience includes mathematics, physics, and specialized courses in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. During my PhD, I also taught engineering courses at UQ for several years, including tutorials, practical sessions, and exam preparation classes. What I find most rewarding about teaching is the moment when a difficult concept finally becomes simple and understandable for a student through clear, relatable, real-world examples. That is why, rather than focusing on memorizing formulas, I first try to clarify the concept and the reasoning behind a problem, and then work through the solution step by step. I always strive to create a comfortable and friendly classroom environment where students feel free to ask questions without hesitation, and we can keep working together until they fully understand the concepts and how to solve the problems.
Teaching Method
In my classes, I first try to understand each student’s level, goals, and the topics that require more practice. Then, I explain concepts in a simple, conceptual, and step-by-step way, using practical examples and problem-solving exercises. My goal is not just to help you memorize formulas or arrive at the right answer; I want you to understand why and how a problem can be solved. I adjust the pace and level of each class according to the student’s needs and keep the classroom environment friendly and interactive, so you feel comfortable asking questions. When preparing for exams, we can focus on problem-solving, reviewing key concepts, additional practice, and addressing any areas where you need further support.
