About Me

My name is Sepideh, and I teach mathematics at Darsoon. For me, mathematics was never just an ordinary school subject. On the contrary, I genuinely enjoyed learning it, something that may seem unusual to many people. This interest led me to continue my academic journey in Electrical Engineering, where I could see the real-world applications of mathematics. Later, I moved toward Industrial Engineering and the field of systems optimization, where I discovered one of the most fascinating applications of mathematics. After several years of teaching experience, along with working in marketing and business environments, I continued my path by studying Data Science. I have never viewed mathematics as merely a theoretical subject. What has always mattered to me is understanding its practical applications and real-world impact. That is why I try to teach mathematics the same way I have understood it myself clearly, practically, and in a way that feels tangible to students.

Teaching Method

In my opinion, the most important resource for teaching is the student’s own textbook. When a student develops a strong understanding of the material in their school book, they build a solid foundation for learning, and only then, if needed, should supplementary resources be introduced. Overloading students with excessive material often leads to stress and reduced focus. In mathematics, more than anything else, it is important to build students’ confidence and this happens through deep understanding and mastery of their core textbook material.
