About Me

Hello, I'm Shidokht, and my passion for painting has been a constant since childhood. My journey into the world of art began at art school, where I earned a degree in painting. After graduation, I wholeheartedly embraced teaching, and instructing students in various painting techniques, including watercolor, oil painting, and acrylics. Over the years, my focus has shifted to specialized watercolor instruction, beginning at the university level. The watercolor painting evokes a sense of vitality, vibrancy, and liberation within me.

Teaching Method

My teaching approach is tailored to each student's unique creativity and interests. In watercolor classes, we delve into various techniques, exploring landscapes, still lifes, florals, and more, gradually guiding students toward a level of proficiency that meets their own expectations and mine. We'll uncover the intricacies of texture creation in watercolor, enabling you to grasp this captivating technique with ease. Additionally, we'll explore acrylic painting, utilizing simple forms and a "part-to-whole" approach to create artwork. This method is particularly well-suited for crafting decorative paintings.
