About Me

I am a retired teacher from Ministry of Education with 31 years of teaching experience, more than 20 of which were spent teaching first grade in elementary school. Throughout my career, I was recognized as an outstanding teacher and completed more than 800 hours of specialized professional training courses. After immigrating to Canada, in addition to teaching in schools in person, I have also taught students online, including both Persian-speaking and non-Persian-speaking learners from various countries. Teaching the Persian language is not just a profession for me; it is a deep passion, and I would be delighted to contribute to preserving and promoting this valuable language among younger generations.

Teaching Method

My teaching approach is designed according to each student’s age, level, and individual needs. For teaching reading and writing, I use well-established educational textbooks along with supplementary exercises and activities that I personally create. When teaching children, I incorporate flashcards, educational games, pictures, and interactive activities to increase motivation and enhance learning. For non-Persian-speaking learners, I use simple and practical methods to strengthen speaking skills, reading comprehension, and vocabulary development. Classes are tailored to meet each learner’s educational goals and objectives.

Experience

• 31 years of teaching experience in public schools within the Ministry of Education system, including more than 20 years teaching Grade 1 (elementary level) • Selected as an Outstanding Teacher and completed more than 800 hours of professional development and in-service training courses • Taught in private schools after retirement • 7 years of experience teaching private lessons both online and in person in Canada • Teaching Persian (Farsi) to children, teenagers, and adults, including both Persian-speaking and non-Persian-speaking students from various countries • Currently teaching at a Persian school in BC and privately teaching Persian conversation, grammar, reading, and writing skills
