About Me

Hello! I’m Yasna, a French teacher. I’ve always been fascinated by the study of world literature and by learning languages as mirrors of each nation’s culture and civilization. This passion led me to explore French literature more deeply. I began by learning the language itself, then continued my journey academically at university. My enthusiasm for sharing what I learn with others naturally guided me toward teaching. Today, with over five years of experience teaching both online and in person through general and private courses, I’m here to accompany you on your French learning journey. My goal is to help you have a rich and creative language-learning experience — one where we not only build a strong foundation together, step by step, from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1) levels, but also dive deeper into the culture and world of French-speaking communities.

Teaching Method

In my teaching, I rely on a variety of up-to-date methods, interactive techniques, and lesson plans tailored to each learner’s goals and needs. The aim is for you not only to master grammar and thematic vocabulary but also to strengthen your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a practical way. I also share my experience to help you prepare for international exams such as "DELF, DALF, TEF" and "TCF". In online classes, by using multimedia tools and resources such as audio, video, films, music, flashcards, and educational games, I make the learning process both enjoyable and effective for children and adults alike. Moreover, I believe that language is not merely a dry tool for communication — it’s a gateway to a new world. That’s why, alongside language instruction, we also explore French culture, idioms, history, literature, tourism, and art to create a comprehensive and inspiring learning experience.

Experience

• Master’s student in Modern Literature at Sorbonne Nouvelle University, Paris • Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in French Language and Literature from the University of Tehran (2021 and 2023) • Winner of the Michel Tournier Prize in the 2022 Francophonie Competition • Holder of a DALF C1 certificate • Over 5 years of experience teaching private and group courses online and in person at various levels
