About Me

I have a huge passion for teaching mathematics. It is a subject I feel entirely confident in, and this is reflected in my ability to teach in a simple, yet highly effective manner to cater to students of all standards and abilities. My favorite part about mathematics is its connection to the real world. I love teaching students how to observe mathematical processes in everyday applications where they can see formulas and equations in real life. Being able to inspire students to look at mathematics in new and applicable ways is motivating for me, as I believe teachers also learn from their students. The biggest challenge I see when teaching mathematics is the perception that many students have about the subject. Most learners often feel that math is too difficult, which can lead to other challenges in future studies. To overcome this at the beginning, I approach math instruction as if teaching a foreign language. I help students master complex vocabulary and theories in math before applying more complex formulas for solving real-world problems. I've found that this approach has given me the ability to help students succeed, even when overcoming challenges in their learning.

Teaching Method

My teaching philosophy is that every child should be introduced to the tools they need to establish their learning style. Because of how important technology is in our world. I encourage learning by using many different manipulatives, hands-on activities, and various forms of technology. incorporating open-ended questions, and cooperative learning into the teaching plan. I can facilitate a highly interactive class atmosphere. I ask questions about students' interests and academic goals and provide opportunities for students to ask me questions. This helps establish my instructional and classroom expectations and lets students know I care about meeting their expectations, too.I try to teach some quick mental calculation techniques and methods for all grades, especially grades 1 to 8. By using these techniques, students can multiply, divide and Add or subtract one-digit, two-digit, and three-digit numbers, even fractions and decimal numbers, easily and quickly. If I want to talk about feedback, I can mention the development of logical thinking, increasing motivation and creativity in learning mathematics, as well as increasing self-confidence in students.

Experience

Graduated in polymer engineering from AmirKabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic). Mathematics teacher for more than 5 Years in online and face-to-face classes for all grades (2018- present) Two years of experience in teaching quick mental calculation techniques and methods for grades 1 to 8 in educational institutions. TESOL degree holder from LTTC (Level 7 Diploma in TESOL from London Teacher Training College). 15th rank in the polymer engineering master's exam. Cambridge Mathematics teacher at Cambridge International School in Istanbul (2021-2022) Currently, I am Darsoon's online math teacher and I teach Mathematics to high schoolers at Hakim International School.
