About Me

For me, science has always been more than just books and exams. From my school years, when I first saw the image of a cell under a microscope, I felt like I was looking at the secrets of existence. It was then that I realized science, especially biology and chemistry, is a way to see the world with fresh eyes. Over time, this interest turned into a path; a path that started with learning and quickly moved toward teaching. I understood that there was something in me that only came alive through teaching. Seeing that special moment when a student, after much confusion, suddenly has a sparkle in their eyes and says, "I get it!"—nothing is more valuable to me than that. Teaching, for me, is not just about transferring knowledge; it's a real conversation. A conversation between me and a student's curious mind, which is sometimes tired, sometimes eager, but always deserving of learning and growing. Every time I accompany a student, it's as if I'm learning anew myself, and perhaps this constant back-and-forth between teaching and learning is what has kept me teaching with passion after all these years.

Teaching Method

n my classes, before anything else, I try to get to know my students—how they learn, what they're afraid of, and where they need the most support. I believe every student has their own unique way of thinking, and teaching should be in sync with that. For teaching science, biology, and chemistry, I use the main textbooks depending on the student's grade level and needs. However, I always try to present the material in a simpler, more visual, and understandable way. I also use videos, images, or real-life examples to turn a dry, difficult lesson into something tangible and even enjoyable. My experience with online teaching has helped me create an environment where the student, even from behind a screen, feels a sense of closeness and comfort. The classes are usually interactive, meaning I don't do all the talking. Instead, the student gets involved, asks questions, solves problems, and progresses step-by-step with me. For elementary school students, I mostly use visual, game-like methods and tangible examples to help concepts stick in their minds. For higher grades, I focus more on deep understanding, connecting concepts, and problem-solving skills. Ultimately, my goal is for my student to feel that the subject is something they can understand, learn, and master, not just something they have to memorize.
