About Me
I am Sheida Maleki, a passionate Arabic language learner. My love for Arabic dates back to my high school years. Driven by my passion for the Persian language, I chose to study Humanities and realized that my true love for Persian begins with a love for Arabic. This passion led me to achieve the highest scores in both Persian and Arabic in the Iranian university entrance exam. After graduating with a degree in Social Communication from university, I started my career as a journalist and fulfilled my passion for the English language. In order to complete my studies in Regional Studies at the postgraduate level, I participated in the "History of Europe" summer course at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. There, I realized that I needed to learn a language other than English to succeed. Given my previous academic background in Arabic, I started learning it seriously at the Kānūn Language Institute and then continued my studies at the Ma'had al-Dhad Institute. Currently, I am proficient in Modern Standard Arabic and I am also continuing to learn Arabic dialects. During this time, I have had many private students and helped them overcome their fear of the Arabic language and be able to easily cope with this subject in conversations, exams, and the Iranian university entrance exam.
Teaching Method
The goal of learning a language determines its learning path. However, there is a general path for learning Arabic that I have followed myself, which includes "listening, seeing and trying to understand", "teaching related rules", "understanding the meaning of words" and of course "repetition and practice". To do this, I use all kinds of educational materials such as movies, cartoons, series, audio files, books (pdf) and online and offline exercises, depending on the student's level of knowledge.
