About Me

I am Amirhossein Kashi, a mathematics tutor with experience teaching students from Grades 1 to 12 in both Persian and English in Canada. Since childhood, I have been passionate about conceptual learning. I have always wanted to understand the reasoning and logic behind ideas rather than simply memorizing them. That is why mathematics and science were among my favorite subjects, and I chose to study mathematics and physics in high school. My teaching journey began by helping my siblings and family members with their studies, and later I worked as a teaching assistant at university. Today, teaching is much more than simply delivering academic content to me; it is about helping students truly understand concepts and build confidence in their abilities. I believe mathematics can be engaging, understandable, and even enjoyable when it is taught in the right, concept-based way. I would be happy to support students on their learning journey.

Teaching Method

My teaching method is fully concept-based and step-by-step. I first make sure the student has a strong understanding of the topic, and then we gradually work through exercises from basic to intermediate and more challenging levels. In class, I create a calm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence without stress. My goal is not for students to simply memorize answers but to develop the ability to think through problems independently and trust in their own abilities.
