About Me

Hi! I am Amir Marghoub, and I started learning English from a young age by attending classes. With my great interest in watching English movies and series and listening to English songs, I reached a high level of English. Also, with my passion for the English language and literature, I continued my undergraduate studies in English literature and completed them. At the same time, I was teaching English part-time, and considering my pursuit of teaching English, I decided to take the CELTA course offered by the University of Cambridge. After 120 hours of professional training and teaching real international learners and obtaining a certificate for this course, I continued my studies in a master's degree in English language teaching. It is also worth mentioning that during my studies, I was simultaneously teaching English both in various language institutes and privately. In order to improve my performance, I also participated in the IELTS Teacher Training course offered by IDP Australia and also took the IELTS Academic exam and successfully obtained an overall score of 8.5. For the past 2 years, I have also been learning French and I can speak this language at an intermediate level.

Teaching Method

The teaching method and resources will vary depending on the type of class, and they will be determined based on your specific needs. If the learner is a school student, we will use the Canadian Curriculum or other online resources in class, depending on the skill that needs improvement. If you're looking to enhance your speaking skills in English, we'll use resources that I have collected online. If your goal is to improve general language skills, we'll choose an appropriate book based on your needs. All classes will be interactive, and you will have an active role in every part of the class. Since language learning requires a lot of practice, we will have plenty of exercises both in and outside the class. The goal of the classes is for you to gradually become independent and learn how to study each skill correctly on your own. Along with the class, it’s essential to stay connected with the language outside the classroom as well. Since I personally learned English in this way, I can help you find useful resources based on your level and interests.
